KUEH MOUNTAIN COLLECTION
STORY
Fairytail Pets is a fictional pet store that came about as an assignment during my studies at Pikes Peak State College. The idea was to create a brand identity for a high-end pet store that focuses on canine products and spa.
PROCESS
It all started with a logo. I’ve used 5 keywords to steer me to the next step. My keywords were Premium, Magical, Unique, Healthy and Expensive. From there, I’ve compiled reference images via Pinterest and started to pick and sketch the logo according to the keywords mentioned.
INITIAL SKETCH
ILLUSTRATION
Begin with a ‘hero’ logo. This logo is made of Malaysian famous delicacies and sweets. KUEH is the word used to group all the types of sweets and savories tidbits Malaysia has to offer. I illustrated each of the ‘kueh’ and group them into this mountain silhouette hence the word “Kueh Mountain’ on the flag.
The title “Ain’t No Mountain Worth Climbin’ is added to support the header Kueh Mountain.
